Bah HumBug

Why is it that Christmas is supposed to be a time of good cheer, peace and goodwill yet I’m not feelin’ the love. (Don’t get me wrong, I’m not anti-Christmas or anything like that!)
I finished my Christmas shopping months ago so that I did not have to contend with crowds and stores. However, I underestimated the amount of baked goods ingredients I needed and had to go into the store TODAY of all days.
If y’all aren’t familiar with Meijer - it’s a mega store, I guess like the Walmarts that have groceries. Half the store is groceries, half is goods, etc.
By the time I left that store I was wound up like an eight day clock wanting to punch someone in the face! People dilly dallying in the aisles, can’t get to any food items, people can’t decide what they want to get, everyone driving their carts like maniacs. My own child kept driving the cart into the back of my heels (ow!) and heaven forbid she was embarrassed when I yelped after she durn near amputated my feet.
I’m home safe and sound now - and it’s probably almost funny = but ironic how “tis the season” can turn even Mary Poppins into the Grinch!
Fa la la la laaaaaaa
Bake to baking so we can spread Christmas cheer around the neighborhood tomorrow.
